What is a Polygraph Test?
A polygraph test is a professional procedure based on recording physiological changes occurring in an individual during a question-and-answer session about a specific event or topic using professional equipment, and then evaluating these changes by a team of experts.
Today, it is preferred by companies, law firms, and institutions operating in various sectors, as well as individual applicants, for various evaluation processes.
Since each application is unique, a special plan is developed to suit the scope of the event, instead of standard procedures. This ensures both the application process and the analysis phase are conducted in a more systematic manner.
In Which Cases is a Polygraph Test Preferred?
The polygraph test can be used in different fields to evaluate trust-based issues.
Some of the most common reasons for applications include:
Trust issues regarding a spouse or partner,
Evaluation of suspicion of infidelity,
Applications from couples seeking to strengthen mutual trust before marriage,
Disagreements among family members,
Trust problems related to business partnerships,
Allegations of theft in workplaces,
Trust breaches concerning personnel,
Information leakage and internal security processes,
Evaluation of financial loss and embezzlement cases,
Applications to support legal processes,
Corporate security assessments,
Individual requests for personal verification.
Since the subject of each application is different, the application process is planned accordingly.
How is a Polygraph Test Performed?
Before the polygraph test, the application is evaluated and the scope of the case is analyzed. Then, a question plan is prepared and detailed information about the application process is provided.
The professional device used during the test records:
Heart rhythm,
Pulse changes,
Blood pressure,
Sweat rate.
The data obtained is analyzed in detail by our expert team, trained in the field, after the application is completed.
How are Questions Prepared in a Polygraph Test?
The foundation of a successful application lies in proper question planning.
Questions can be prepared by our clients, or, upon request, by our expert team.
Organizing the prepared questions in a clear, understandable, and single-topic manner contributes to a healthier evaluation process.
How Long Does a Polygraph Test Take?
Since each application has different characteristics, the application time may vary.
